Investigate and educate yourself on what is happening at your area beaches.
If you are concerned about the monitoring and reporting of safe swimming conditions at a beach near you, contact the people responsible for that beach and express your concerns. You can find their contact information on this site by selecting “Learn More” on the beach and then clicking “Current Conditions” under the beach aerial photo. This will take you to the website of the government entity who monitors that beach. They can answer questions about the frequency of testing, data posting and recent water quality condition. We also encourage you to contact the beach manager who could be staff at a private club, a local department of recreation or a county/city parks department.
If you find out that a beach is not being monitored properly, please let us know.
